If I ever went to see a sitcom being filmed and I traveled for a couple of hours to get to the studio, got all excited, sat in my seat and it turned out to be on of those ‘very special’ episodes where one of the characters gets into drugs / depression / petty theft, etc. and the whole second half is about them getting caught, the reveal and following, heartwarming redemption, I’d be like ‘Aw man. I wanted a funny one.’
