No matter how many times I watch the last Muppet movie, I always get goosebumps when they leave the theater to rapturous applause, Gary gesturing to Walter that ‘It’s ok, you can go’. The freeze frame. The Pigs in Space echo-ey announcement where the pigeons take off out of the open roof. Pictures in my head. The photo of Jim in Kermit’s office with the banjo softly strumming in the background. 

One of the moments that really gets to me, always, and I’ve never been able to pinpoint exactly why, is the part in ‘Pictures in my head’ where the Electric Mayhem freeze for the last time and turn back into a painting. Why is that? Just every time. Every single time.
